Harrow - London Party Wall appointment (close to Pinner and Ruislip)
Background: The works involved underpinning the garage foundations and replacing its single skin wall with a cavity wall.
We were appointed by the adjoining owners.
There was one adjoining owner
The works involved a rear and side extension incorporating the existing garage space.
Conclusion:
The works were somewhat complicated by the fact that the Adjoining Owner's boundary wall run alongside the full length of the garage wall. In addition the garage wall was proposed to be extended rearwards as part of its conversion into a side extension which also incorporated a rear extension.
Hit and missed sequenced bays were proposed for both the underpinning and the extension to avoid undermining the boundary wall.
